Kim Kardashian hosted Saturday Night Live over the weekend and is getting a ton of praise—especially for her opening monologue, where she roasted herself and her family. While my personal fave joke of the night was Kim saying she’s the inspiration behind her sisters’ plastic surgery, she also took aim at her ex-husband Kanye West, saying, “So when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to one thing: his personality. I know it sounds mean, but people keep telling me that comedy comes from truth. And if there’s one thing that I always strive to be, it’s genuine.”

So…how did Kanye feel about this? First of all, he was watching Kim in the audience, and second of all, he thought she did an amazing job.

“Kanye and the family were all incredibly supportive and there for her all week,” a source tells E! News. “She felt that she had everyone on her side rooting for her. She’s so glad that she had this experience and learned so much from it. It’s a week she will never forget.”

Meanwhile, another insider told Entertainment Tonight, “Kim and Kanye are in a great place and they always bounce ideas off of each other and look to each other for advice and guidance, and this gig is no exception.…[Kim was] looking forward to poking fun at herself and showing that side of herself with the world.”

Oh, and yet another source (wow, Kris Jenner has been busy! lol, kidding) told Page Six that Kim and Kanye “kept waving and making eyes at each other” while she was onstage and that Kanye had previously seen the monologue during rehearsals—and then went backstage after Kim performed it live.

TBD on if this is yet more evidence that these two are back together, but considering Kim’s monologue included a divorce joke, gonna go ahead and assume they’re just friends?
