Kim Kardashian absolutely nailed her Saturday Night Live host's monologue over the weekend [9 October] and, as expected, it was amazing.

In true SNL (and Kim) style, we saw her roasting everyone - from Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, to mum Kris Jenner's boyfriend Corey Gamble, and even her former husband Kanye West.

However, despite Kim poking fun at Kanye and saying she divorced him for "his personality", Kanye's real thoughts on Kim's performance have now apparently been revealed.

Kanye was reportedly sat in the audience during the show, a source confirmed to E! News, with a second insider telling the publication, "Everyone was very impressed and so happy for Kim," adding that Kanye was included in the group.

They continued, "She's had a tonne of positive feedback and is very happy. She put everything she had into it and worked hard to make it the best it could be."

The insider added, "Kanye and the family were all incredibly supportive and there for her all week. She felt that she had everyone on her side rooting for her. She's so glad that she had this experience and learned so much from it. It's a week she will never forget."

So, good feedback all round, then.

According to reports, Kim, sister Khloe Kardashian, Kris and Corey all continued on to the SNL after-party, with the first source revealing that Kanye didn't attend. However, Kim and Kanye were pictured leaving their New York City hotel together on the Saturday.

Prior to SNL recording, it's thought that Kanye was helping Kim to prepare for the show, with a source telling Page Six, "Kim is nervous about hosting SNL, it's a big challenge but she is determined to be a success.

"Kanye is quietly advising her on her performance, her opening monologue, even her costumes for the show."

Well, certainly looks like the advice paid off, then.
