Ali Daei to Sunil Chhetri - Who are the top 10 Asian international goalscorers?

Indian football team skipper Sunil Chhetri is currently the second-highest active Asian goalscorer and the fourth-highest Asian scorer of all-time with 76 goals to his name in 122 international matches.

The former Kansas City FC forward is the 10th highest goalscorer in the world at the moment and is just one goal short of equalling Brazilian legend Pele's tally of 77 goals. UAE's Ali Mabkhout is the highest goalscorer among active Asian players with just one goal more than Chhetri.

Iran's legendary forward Ali Daei is the all-time highest Asian goalscorer with 109 goals in 149 matches. He was also the all-time highest international goalscorer in the world, a record which he had held from 2006 to September 2021. Cristiano Ronaldo went past Ali Daei's tally after he scored a brace against Republic of Ireland in the 2022 World Cup qualifying match on September 1, 2021.
