CHICAGO – The UConn women's soccer team (6-6-0, 2-3-0 BIG EAST) narrowly fell to DePaul (6-7-0, 2-3-0), 1-0, Sunday afternoon at Wish Field.
Kaitlyn Mahoney made six saves in the game, including four in the first to keep the game 0-0 at halftime.
UConn held a 10-8 advantage in shots, but not of the Huskies' chances found the net. DePaul's goal came at 56:29 off a set piece.
Laci Lewis led UConn with three shots.
The Huskies are back in action at Morrone Stadium this Thursday vs. Creighton at 7 p.m.
