Owls Dominate Walla Walla, Go Into 1st in CCC

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Oregon Tech (10-1) dominated start to finish in A 7-0 thrashing of Walla Walla (0-9-1) on Saturday morning. The victory for Tech protects their undefeated home record and moves them atop the CCC Men's Soccer Standings.

"Good team performance today against a Walla Walla team that never stopped working," said head coach Casey Tate. "We have two very difficult games next weekend."

After being held scoreless for the first 20 minutes, Jake Mitchell (Pictured #24) got Tech on the scoreboard, slotting home one of his signature penalty kick goals into the bottom left corner.

From there it was an onslaught, highlighted by a Brock Rideout hat-trick for the Hustlin' Owls.

The scoring went:

27th Minute -- Brock Rideout, assisted by Jake Mitchell
30th Minute -- Jake Mitchell
37th Minute -- Brock Rideout, assisted by Jack Warner
54th Minute -- Jack Warner, assisted by Andrew Pasang
56th Minute -- Brock Rideout, assisted by Sebastian Brunk and Jake Mitchell
57th Minute -- Andrew Pasang

Funny enough, with all the goals Tech scored, they still didn't display the quality in front of the goal that they should have.

Tech shot 42 times, putting 21 on frame, but only came away with seven goals.

The victory for the Owls improves their record to 10-1, with six regular-season games remaining.

Tech will travel northeast next weekend to face off against Eastern Oregon (4-6) and College of Idaho (6-2).
