STATESBORO, Ga. --- The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team wrapped up play at the Georgia Southern Shootout and impressed with seven wins over singles and doubles on Sunday afternoon in Statesboro, Georgia.
"Nicole [Abel] had a great tournament and is improving fast," said head coach
Chad Camper. "Wilma [Bergqvist] had a great run in her singles draw and the team improved in many other spots."
"A good week of practice is needed to continue to build the program. Callie [Billman] and Caroline [Gibbens] also had great singles win."
Chattanooga returns to action October 21-24 in Murfreesboro, Tenn., for the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals.
