The Group Stage of Worlds 2021 is just about to start and Fnatic just dropped bombshell information. Fnatic’s all star ADC, Upset, will not be starting. This is due to an undisclosed family reason which caused Upset to go home.

Obviously, this the right decision, but what happens for Fnatic for the Group Stage? They are starting Fnatic Rising ADC, Bean. Bean has been boot camping with Fnatic for the last few weeks and is more than qualified to take the spot. During Summer EU Masters 2021, he had a a GD10 of 13, XPD10 of -4 and CSD10 of -2.6. His DPM was his most impressive stat at a staggering 611 and his KDA is also really solid at 6.0. Bean may not be as good as Upset, but in terms of subs, this is a good one to have.
Furthermore, one needs to wonder how this will affect the Group Stage. Fnatic is in Group C which contains Hanwha Life, PSG Talon and RNG. Generally, most were projecting both Fnatic and RNG to escape, but it’s certainly possible that this changes things. Only time will tell, but Fnatic plays their first game at 9AM EST versus Hanwha Life Esports.
The Game Haus wishes the best to Upset and everything works out for him.
