7MW Wrestling Lights up the night!

LEWISTOWN – There was a lot going on as Seven Mountains Wrestling made another stop to Mr. Stax for another big night of Professional Wrestling.
It was also an extremely emotional night for the wrestlers as well as the people of Lewistown as before the show had begun, all of the 7MW wrestlers along with several family and friends and fellow Burnham Bulldog teammates gathered around the ring for a special tribute to late great Alex Burke who had recently passed away.
Many people got an opportunity to discuss their stories about Burke who was truly loved by all in the community.
One of those people was Malcolm King who emotionally talked about how Burke had touched his life. After the discussions, there was a ten bell salute to Burke.
King carried that emotion over into his fatal four-way hardcore match for the 7MW Hardcore Championship that included, Robnoxious, Kid Mike and Mr. Ping. After a very brutal match between the four men, King put on a heavy splash on Ping to pick up the one, two, three to become the 7MW Hardcore champion.
That match was just one of five championship matches that had taken place at the event. In the opening matchup of the evening was for the 7MW Sky High Championship between the challenger the American Hammer Matt Quay vs the champ himself the Prima Donna Prince Sam Thompson who was accompanied by the Prima Donna Princess Valerie.
Much like the name of the title, both Quay and Thompson did not disappoint with their high energy and high flying abilities in the ring. But as the match itself was winding down, Quay found himself outside the ring and attempted to get back inside the ring before the ten count. However, unseen by the official, Valerie had sneaked her way under the ring and grabbed Quay’s leg and and kept him from getting back inside getting himself counted out and Thompson being able to retain the title.
But a little while later, the Prima Donna Princess had herself an opportunity to become the 7MW Women’s champion as she went one on one with the Redneck Chick Izzy McCoy. Both women was showcasing why they should be the champion. Unfortunately for the Redneck Chick, much like how Valerie came to the aid of Thompson in his match. Thompson returned the favor as Valerie was distracting the ref who was trying to get her back into the ring, Thompson slipped into the ring with his title and clocked McCoy right in her face allowing Valerie to slide in and pick up the victory. Then afterwards the Prima Donnas looked to completely take out the Redneck Chick, but before anymore harm could be done, Quay appeared and ran the two off to set up a match for a later date.
Long time fan favorites the Pony Express were set to defend their 7MW Tag Team Titles against King Kailua and Mr. Ooh La La. For a while, it appeared that the duo of Kailua and Ooh La La were well on their way to becoming the new tag champs. But as the match went on, there was a situation where the referee was taken out and Kailua and Ooh La La looked to take advantage. That was until for WWE wrestler and Tough Enough winner Maven made his entrance and showed the 7MW world by taking over as the new official and to make sure to keep Kaluha and Ooh La La in check. With Maven as the new ref, the Pony Express got on their horse and powered their way to ultimately defeat Kailua and Ooh La La to retain the tag titles.
Then of course came the Main Event of the night where Mike Citty who won the number one contender battle royal for a shot at the 7MW Heavyweight Championship with the help of Ms. Violett. Challenged the champion Joey J-Kat.
It went back and forth between the two as J-Kat and Citty looked to come out victorious. But then Ms. Violett started to make her presence felt during the match which eventually was thrown out by the referee who caught her pushing J-Kat off the top rope and was immediately ejected. Upset with the decision, Citty turned to argue with the ref and J-Kat would take advantage catching Citty with a roll-up and pinned him for the win.
After the match however, Citty was furious and attacked J-Kat knocking him out with the title and send a warning to J-Kat as well as the Lewistown crowd that this will not be the last time you will see him.
Another fun event that 7MW did for the audience was host a special Halloween Costume Contest where three people that were selected got to walk out with their favorite wrestlers. The three people who were selected are Addelynn Lash who dressed up as Star Child of the rock band Kiss, she came out to the ring with Izzy McCoy. Amber Deavor was picked for her costume which was a Witch Doctor and she choose to go with 7MW champion J-Kat. The third selection was Luke North who came as Freddy Kruger and he went with Matt Quay.
Other Results
Golden Boy Colby Conrad def. Kid Mike.

Congrats to all of 7MW for another amazing show at Mr. Stax and I hope all of the fans and wrestlers got home safely.
But also me and the entire Hometown Sports group would love to send our thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of Alex Burke. Rest In Peace bud. God Bless
