Trevor Lawrence exposes major miscommunication with Urban Meyer
Trevor Lawrence ran into another communication problem with Urban Meyer on Sunday after the Jacksonville Jaguars fell to the Tennessee Titans, 37-19.
Asked about a potential quarterback sneak, Meyer said Lawrence is not quite comfortable with it yet, mainly because he hasn’t done it. However, Lawrence had a different view.
“No. I feel comfortable,” he said. “Obviously I haven’t run it in a game, but I feel comfortable … no, QB sneak is something we can always get to and I feel comfortable with.”
The loss means Jacksonville holds the second-longest skid in NFL history, 20 straight losses, which is 6 shy of tying the record Tampa Bay set in 1977 over its first 2 seasons as an expansion team, the Associated Press reported.

Urban Meyer on why no QB sneak for Trevor Lawrence from the six-inch line? “He’s not quite comfortable with that yet. I know that might sound silly, but if you’ve never done it, it’s something that we need to keep [working on] so that we can make that call in that situation.”
