Two Sox, two other MLB teams not named ‘Cincinnati Reds’ playing postseason games - Open Thread

Sunday baseball!

One sock will play the Tampa Bay Rays, the other tube pitted against the dastardly Houston Astros. It’s set to be a Sunday slate of baseball that could see Houston knock out Tony Chris Russo and the Chicago SouthSiders out of the playoffs altogether.

Boston and Tampa will tussle first, with first pitch set for 4:07 PM ET at Fenway Park. Nathan Eovaldi will toe the rubber for those Sox as they attempt to take a 2-1 lead in that series, with Drew Rasmussen set to pitch for the Rays as they, too, attempt to take a 2-1 lead in that series. Thats how series that are tied 1-1 work, kids.

The evening affair will feature Dylan Cease on the bump for Chicago opposite Luis Garcia, with first pitch in that nightcap set for 8:07 PM ET. Just root for Tampa in this series, too.

Tampa/Boston will be carried on MLB Network, while Houston/Chicago will be carried by FS1. Plan accordingly, and Go Reds (one of these decades).
