Much like we saw during his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, former No. 1 pick Jameis Winston has seen his ups and downs in his first four starts as a member of the New Orleans Saints.
Winston, 27, entered Sunday’s outing against the Washington Football Team having thrown eight touchdowns against two interceptions. Winston opened the season with five touchdowns in a blowout win over the Green Bay Packers, only to throw two interceptions against zero touchdowns in a Week 2 loss to the Carolina Panthers.

In the first quarter of Sunday’s road outing against Washington, we were all privy to the Jameis Winston experience. That’s not hyperbole.
In New Orleans’ first possession of the game, Winston threw an ugly interceptions into the hands of Washington linebacker Cole Holcomb.
What in the world was Winston doing there? He didn’t see two defenders undercut Taysom Hill? That’s just about as ugly as it gets. It also resulted in a Washington field goal and a 3-0 Saints deficit.
Attempting to atone for this mistake, Winston ultimately connected with wide receiver Deonte Harris on a 72-yard touchdown in New Orleans’ next possession.
