Gustafsson was reassigned to AHL Manitoba on Sunday, Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet reports.
A second-round draft pick in 2018, Gustafsson hasn't done much in limited NHL action, posting a single point across 26 games while averaging less than six minutes of ice time. He recorded 19 points in 22 games last year with the Moose, though, so if he continues to develop his game in the minors, he's likely to get another shot with the Jets soon.
