Tyson Fury's Wife Tears Into Deontay Wilder And Tells Him To Quit Boxing After Brutal KO Defeat

Paris Fury watched Tyson Fury reclaim his WBC title against Deontay Wilder in front of 15,820 fans at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Paris Fury has urged former WBC champion Deontay Wilder to walk away from boxing after his devastating defeat to Tyson Fury on Saturday.

Wilder was unsuccessful in his bid to avenge his 2020 defeat to Fury and recapture the WBC title in Las Vegas.

The 35-year-old KO artist came out on the front foot in the opening round of their trilogy bout, but Fury began to pile on the pressure before dropping him in the third.

Wilder showed his warrior spirit and roared back with two successful knockdowns in the fourth round, with Fury climbing off the canvas on both occasions.

However, Fury knocked down Wilder for the second time in the 10th round before landing a vicious right to KO the Bronze Bomber in the 11th round.

Speaking after the epic heavyweight clash, Fury’s wife insisted that they “don’t want to hear” Wilder’s name again.

“Clearly he [Wilder] is a tough man, but he’s not tough enough,” she told iFL TV.

“Three times [in a row] now. Maybe he’ll shut up now, go home and go to bed. I’ll be polite but we don’t want to hear that man’s name again.

“Let him go and do something else, do something else that he’s good at. He’s not good at boxing clearly.”

Wilder’s future in boxing remains uncertain after suffering back-to-back defeats to Fury, who has claimed their “saga is done now.”

Following the trilogy fight, Fury claimed that Wilder didn’t “want to show any sportsmanship or respect” after he approached him in his corner.

The WBC champion was in high spirits during his post-fight press conference, despite Wilder refusing to show him respect after their memorable showdown.

Fury, who could face Dillian Whyte next if the WBC enforce a mandatory challenger, claimed that he is the “greatest heavyweight champion of my era.”

The 33-year-old Brit said: “I have proved time and again that I can never be written off.

“I didn't have my best performance but I pulled it out of the bag when it needed to be done.

“I am the greatest heavyweight champion of my era, without a doubt. Number one. If you play with fire long enough, you will get burned.”
