Two Missouri teens injured after Nodaway Co. crash

NODAWAY COUNTY—Two Missouri teens were injured in an accident just after 8p.m. Saturday in Nodaway County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1997 Chevy 1500 driven by a 17-year-old boy from Maryville was westbound on 280th at Katydid Road two miles southeast of Maryville.

The driver failed to negotiate an intersection. The vehicle crossed Katydid Road, left the road to the west and struck an embankment.

Nodaway County EMS transported two passengers identified as Jordan E. Brady, 18, Maryville, and a 15-year-old female passenger from Kansas City, MO., to Mosaic in Maryville. The driver was not injured. They were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
