This month, the Arcata Artisans Gallery is showcasing new work by featured artists Zachary Shea and Betsy Roberts.

Shea makes art from recycled wood and natural materials. He has two new pieces of art furniture featured in this show. “Round Table” is made from reclaimed redwood and finished with butcher block oil. “Stump Table” is shaped from a single large hunk of salvaged cedar wood and finished with butcher block oil.

Roberts creates jewelry, wall sconces, lamps and more from a variety of metals, including silver and copper, precious stones and found objects.

Located at 883 H St., Arcata Artisans Cooperative Gallery represents 24 local artists. Their work includes glass, ceramics, wood, photography, jewelry, printmaking, fiber arts and painting. The gallery is open every day except Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 707-825-9133 or go to www.arcataartisans.com.
