Tuscaloosa Angels helping foster families with Love Box program

<p><p><p><p><p class=”x_MsoNormal”>By WVUA 23 News Reporter Elise Anzaldua</p><p class=”x_MsoNormal”>Looking for a way to help families in need this upcoming holiday season?</p><p class=”x_MsoNormal”><a href=”https://www.tuscaloosaangels.org/” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>Tuscaloosa Angels</a> needs donations for their “Love Box” program. This program supports fostering families by delivering monthly care packages based on a family’s individual needs.</p><p class=”x_MsoNormal”>Boxes are seasonally themed and offer something new each month. Of course, October’s box is Halloween themed and filled with fun items to get families in the fall spirit, along with necessities like food, toiletries and clothing items.</p><p class=”x_MsoNormal”>Tuscaloosa Angels case manager Brittany Hall said the boxes are a godsend for foster families because they need all the help they can get.</p><p class=”x_MsoNormal”>“A lot of foster parents tend to isolate themselves, so with the Love Box program, it kind of draws them out of that isolation and lets them know that there is support in Tuscaloosa and that they don’t have to be foster parents by themselves,” said Hall.</p><p>You can learn more about supporting the <a href=”https://www.tuscaloosaangels.org/lovebox.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>Love Box program right here</a>.</p></p></p></p></p>
