The latest trailer for the fourth season of Star Trek: Discovery has been unveiled by Paramount Plus, along with its release date.
The trailer was unveiled today (October 9), by series star Sonequa Martin-Green during the series' New York Comic-Con panel. The upcoming season's official key art, featuring Martin-Green as Captain Michael Burnham, was also debuted during the panel.
According to the Star Trek official website, season four, which will land on our screens on November 18, will find Captain Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery "facing a threat unlike any they've ever encountered".

The synopsis continues: "With Federation and non-Federation worlds alike feeling the impact, they must confront the unknown and work together to ensure a hopeful future for all."
As the crew disobeys Starfleet warnings and warps straight into the anomaly, to go where no-one has gone before, we see the Federation convene as Vulcans, Orions and Ferengi come together to assess this galaxy-wide threat together.
The upcoming season will pick up after Michael was promoted to captain in the season three finale – which also marked the first time a Black woman has filled the captain's seat across the entire live-action series.
It's clear that season four will boldly go where no Trek has gone before.
