A Perry woman was arrested Friday night after allegedly striking her mother in the face.

Hannah Marie Ladehoff, 19, of 809 10th St., Perry, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury or mental illness.

The incident began about 7:15 p.m. Friday in the 2600 block of Summer Meadows Drive, where officers of the Perry Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.

Ladehoff “left the scene on her electric bicycle” prior to the officers’ arrival, according to court records.

The officers made contact with the victim, who was “excessively bleeding from her nose,” according to court records.

The victim told the officers that Ladehoff “came into the residence, met her in the kitchen,
demanding clothing, and then proceeded to strike” the victim “in the face,” according to court records.

The officers observed on the victim “a laceration to her nose, noticeable bruising and some swelling to her nose,” according to court records.

Ladehoff was held in the Dallas County Jail prior to an initial appearance in Dallas County District Court.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
