Ole Miss came away with the win on Saturday, but it was hardly a banner day for the Rebel defense. In the 52-51 shootout, Arkansas outgained Ole Miss 676 to 611 yards.

The back-and-forth battle came down to a 2-point play after Razorbacks coach Sam Pittman decided to roll the dice and go for the win on the road. The Hogs’ try didn’t work, but Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin was humorously reluctant to give his defense any credit.

In his on-field postgame interview, Kiffin said it wasn’t so much a stop as the Rebels lucking out that the Razorbacks decided to go for 2.

The Comeback shared the clip on Twitter:

In the box score, Arkansas ran more plays 93-70 and won the time of possession 35:35 to 24:25, though, Ole Miss averaged more yards per play, 8.7 to 7.3
