HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth field hockey team fell to #18 Princeton, 6-0, on Saturday afternoon at Chase Field.

Princeton (6-5) utilized a strong third quarter to defeat the Big Green, who fall to 4-7 on the season.

Leading the Tigers was Beth Yeager, who scored four goals, including the final three.

The Tigers opened the scoring at the 11:30 mark in the first period. Princeton added to the lead in the second quarter when Yeager scored on a penatly stroke, striking the ball to the bottom left corner. The Tigers continued to attack, adding three more goals in the third quarter, including two off penalty corner opportunities. Princeton grabbed one more in the fourth when Yeager got free in the middle and slotted it to the corner.

Hatley Post made five saves for the Big Green, with all of them coming in the final frame.
Dartmouth hits the road next Saturday, October 16, as they travel for an Ivy League tilt with #13 Harvard. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
