Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their daughter, Lilibet, to the family four months ago, and an insider has told Us Weekly that they’ve moved seamlessly into being a bigger family. Their 2-year-old son, Archie, has “a lovable and sweet nature” that has made him the perfect older brother.

Archie is “coming into his own,” according to their source, and his parents are “so in awe…and feel blessed beyond words.”

“The Sussexes do have nannies to call on when their schedules get crazed, but they’re still extremely hands-on and try to keep the hired help to a minimum for the most part,” the insider explained. “It’s been easier for them with Lili in many ways, even though it’s twice the work, technically, because they’ve been able to use a lot of the techniques they learned with Archie and take care of things like feeding or bathing without too much fuss.”

Prince Harry is also “the most caring dad,” and raising his two kids in Montecito, California, has been “just paradise for Harry.”

Unfortunately, relationships remained strained between Prince Harry and his brother, Prince William, who has been having trouble coming to terms with the Sussexes’ decision to remove themselves from senior duties to the royal family and leave the UK.

Finding Freedom author Omid Scobie told Entertainment Tonight last month that the relationship between the two princes “is still very much one of distance.”

He added, “I don’t just mean physical [distance], across the Atlantic, but they are not talking that much.…[There are] still feelings of anger [about] the way the couple carried out their departure from their royal lives.”

Scobie continued to say that they still come together for big events, like the death of Prince Philip and a recent unveiling of a statue of their late mother, Princess Diana. But in private, it’s hard for them to see eye to eye.

“They are very different men. And I think that William has certainly become someone who is really living his life for the crown, for the institution,” Scobie said. “Harry has really sort of gone completely in the opposite direction.”

But Archie has a much warmer relationship with his sibling and apparently gives his baby sister “lots of kisses.” The source said his parents have taught him to be “kind [and] loving” to her with no “jealousy issues.”
