All About Cats has done the research for you, they’ve found all the best and worst places for pet owners to see all their pet friendly rental options.
By using Zillow, they searched for the available rentals in each US state to determine the percentage of how pet-friendly each state was.
“Looking at the top fifty most populated US cities, we’ve recorded the proportion of properties available to rent that also accept pets,” All About Cats said on their site. “Additionally, we’ve found out the percentage of available rents in each state that will accept a tenant with pets, revealing the best places in the country for pet owners to live.”
In first place in the top 10 most pet-friendly states, is Illinois with 59.87% pet friendly rentals.
- The best cities to find a pet-friendly rental property in the USA include New York City, Charlotte, Arlington and Fort Worth.
- The worst cities to find your perfect pet-paradise include Frenso and San Jose in California who only have 4.88% and 6.24% pet-friendly properties.
