Kanye West Spotted With Trump Fixer Michael Cohen

One can only imagine what the pair discussed over coffee on the Upper East Side.

Kanye West may have ditched the red MAGA hat, but he’s still got Donald Trump on the brain. The Donda recording artist was seen in New York City on Thursday kaffeeklatsching with Michael Cohen, the disbarred attorney and longtime henchman of the twice-impeached former president, as reported by Page Six Friday night.

Cohen is currently under house arrest as he finishes out the remainder of his three-year prison sentence. He first reported to FCI Otisville, a federal prison in New York, on May 6, 2019, after pleading guilty to lying to the Senate and House intelligence committees regarding real estate deals between the Trump Organization and Russia. He was initially furloughed from prison in May 2020 as part of a nationwide push to relieve jails during the early wave of the coronavirus pandemic.

To make the meeting, Kanye had to come to Cohen’s Upper East Side neighborhood. The two men schmoozed at one of the upscale Italian Sant Ambroeuse restaurant-and-dessert spots in the area. As the surreptitious images show, neither fell to the temptation of tiramisu, priced at $9.50, not outrageous for New York City. Also, depending on the angle, it looks like Cohen had two cups of java while West had none. West also wore a coat, despite quite clement weather on Thursday.

Page Six is vague about which of the Sant Ambroeuse locations they visited (if you were wondering which to patronize or avoid depending on your proclivities). We’re guessing it was the outpost at the Loews Regency Hotel considering its short distance from Cohen’s apartment at Trump Park Avenue, and the fact that the pair only had coffee on the table. Alas, comparative pictures on Yelp are too vague to make a definitive declaration.

What were the notorious hip-hop star and the convicted felon who signed a settlement agreement with Stormy Daniels yapping about? Sadly, the spy who spotted them only took pictures.

West, who did not win the election for President of the United States in 2020, remains undecided concerning a 2024 run.
