Kathy Hilton is responding to critics of the $55 million spec home she recently put on the market. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newcomer had a sassy retort after a commenter shaded the design of the sprawling Los Angeles manse on Instagram.

On October 6, Kathy replied to an Instagram user who critiqued the layout of the home’s sprawling backyard, which featured several lengthy staircases leading from the back of the house down to the expansive pool.

When a commenter questioned, “Who’s going to walk 500 steps to a pool?,” Kathy had an explanation at the ready. “There’s an elevator darlin,” she wrote in response, also adding a heart face emoji.

Kathy first shared a glimpse at the sprawling property during an October 6 episode of RHOBH. As she explained at the time, she initially planned to move into the home with her husband, Rick Hilton, but decided to take it on as a project when Rick expressed that he wanted to stay in their current Bel-Air house instead.

The lavish three-story adobe features eight bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, and plenty of luxurious amenities, including a walnut-paneled library, a private home theater, and a bronze wet bar. See more of the stunning home in the video above.
