The Dr. Martens x Herschel Collaboration Is Only Available for 2 Days! Get Them Before They’re Gone Forever (Updated)

Updated on October 9, 2021: The Dr. Martens x Herschel Collection officially launched this morning, and we’ve updated the post below with links.

Fall brings leaf peeping, pumpkin spice everything, hot apple cider, and the hottest fashion collaborations. Two iconic brands, one that’s not only kept you looking good, but your grandparents too, and a modern bag brand that’s on everyone’s shoulders, have come together for a limited edition collab. More than likely you’ve worn items from at least one of these brands. Now, they’ve come together in a killer new boot.

We’re talking about the incredibly ground-breaking footwear company, Dr. Martens, teaming up with Herschel Supply.

Since the 1960s, Dr. Martens has made the world’s most well-known combat boots. Embraced by both the Punk and Grunge movements, designers frequently use them on the runway, and they’re just plain cool. The other half of the partnership is Herschel Supply. The company’s pretty young; they’ve only been around since 2009, but they’ve made a global impact with their top-notch goods (one of the company’s backpacks is a popular item in our Christmas 2021 gift guide). Brothers Jamie and Lyndon Cormack, Herschel Supply’s founders, instinctively understood how to take the lowly backpack and turn it into something more than just a bag to stow books or gym clothes.

This collab comes on the heels of the Dr.Martens X Heaven by Marc Jacobs collab, and what can we say, but Dr. Martens is on a roll, and you’ll want to grab their latest footwear before it sells out.

These two brands put their creative heads (and dreams) together and inspired by the rugged Pacific Northwest and British streetwear, the duo revamped both the Combs II boot and Reeder shoe. Now impervious to bad weather they still retain their quintessential good looks. These shoes go on sale on October 9 and will only be available for two days.  Yes, two days only.

If you want either the boot or the shoe to live in your home, shop at either Dr.Martens.com and Herschel.com to make them your own.

Dr. Martens Herschel Combs II Boot

Dr. Martens Combs II Boot is such a distinctive boot, that once spotted, you realize that you really need it in your life. Herschel takes Martens’ classic combat boot and not only makes it foul weather worthy by with an upper covered in CORDURA® Ballistic nylon and a slippery water-resistant leather upper. The Combs II Herschel boot is also decked out with a reflective tongue, brushed silver hooks that set off the black eyelets, and black and white braided laces.  Why wear a boring rainboot when you can wear these handsome water-resistant limited edition boots instead? Yes, of course, the Combs II Herschel boots have the brand’s air-cushioned insole, but the tract outsole is now done in tonal smoke, which elevates its style. The boot’s finished with a red AirWair heel loop and a black Herschel tab.

Dr. Martens Reeder Herschel Shoe

If you’re a big Dr. Marten fan, and wear their lace-up shoes, you’ll really appreciate this handsome-looking update. Like the Combs II Herschel boot, the Reeder’s been amped up for style and durability. The Reeder Herschel shoe’s upper is clad in the same water-resistant slippery leather and CORDURA™ Ballistic nylon and also sports the same functional details as the boot. They include smoke tract outsoles, a reflective tongue, black eyelets and silver hooks, red AirWair heel loop and a black Herschel tab. And of course, they wouldn’t be a Dr. Marten shoe if they didn’t have the air-cushioned insole and yellow-topstitching.
