  1. Farewell

FT: Man Utd 2-2 Man City

    That's Manchester derby day done.

There is still plenty more WSL action to come this weekend, with five matches on the menu tomorrow.

Champions Chelsea host winless Leicester City at 12.30 BST. Our live text coverage will be up and running from 12.00 BST, so hopefully catch you again then.

  2. Post update

FT: Man Utd 2-2 Man City

A point for Manchester United lifts them to third in the table, above Chelsea who are in action tomorrow.

The draw leaves Manchester City ninth, but crucially it ends their three games losing run.

  3. 'We should have taken three points'

FT: Man Utd 2-2 Man City

    Manchester United

Manchester United boss Marc Skinner on BBC One: "We were disappointed with the way we conceded but then we showed our personality. But we're in a process here and I can only ask them to continue to build, we should have taken three points and we can learn from that.

"We had to be patient and move the ball a bit quicker. Those are details that need to be there in thewe matches. I was much more pleased with what we did in the second half.

"We've got a wonderful foundation to build from but we have to build it in a way I know we can progress in this league. We are going to get to where we need to be but we just need to be patient.

"We need to get these psychological batles, those bttles that will hopefully get you where you want to be."

  4. 'I thought it was a yellow card'

FT: Man Utd 2-2 Man City

    Manchester City

Manchester City boss Gareth Taylor, speaking to BBC Sport: "If it had stayed 11 v 11 I'm fairly confident we would have gone on to win it.

"It was a roller-coaster of a game. When you are potentially staring at a 2-1 loss, reluctantly it is a fair point.

"The sending-off is going to affect us. I was really close. I thought it was a yellow card. I'm hearing it was a little high. I need to see it again.

"I thought we showed great character, determination and spirit. I thought the girls did amazing in that respect."

Azrael: It's been a great game. Goals and entertainment, can't ask for more.

  6. 'Great character'

    Man Utd 2-2 Man City

    Fara Williams

Former England and GB international on BBC One

Man City will take some positives from today. They showed some great character after going down to 10 players.

  7. 'This is just the beginning'

FT: Man Utd 2-2 Man City

    Manchester City

Manchester City's Lauren Hemp, speaking to BBC Sport: "I am so proud how we turned it around. We have not really been on form the last few weeks. Today we showed the quality this team has.

"That's what you want in Manchester derbies. We have done it justice.

"We have showed how well we can play with 10 players. It was important we bounced back from recent results. I'm hoping this can be the turning point. This is just the beginning for us."

  8. Post update

FT: Man Utd 2-2 Man City

Emile Heskey sums it up well.

Manchester United were 15 minutes away from their first WSL derby victory. It will be interesting to see how Red Devils boss Marc Skinner reacts to this in his post-match interview.

  9. 'With a player like White, you can nick anything'

    Man Utd 2-2 Man City

    Emile Heskey

Former Leicester and England striker on BBC One

Having an extra player, Man Utd had to step it up. Having got in front, they will be disappointed they did not take all three points.

You have to take your hat off to the City players to galvanise and go again. With a player like Ellen White, you can nick anything.

Having fans back in the stadium is what you play football for.

  10. 'Taylor will be happier'

    Man Utd 2-2 Man City

    Fara Williams

Former England and GB international on BBC One

Gareth Taylor will certainly be the happier manager with the sending off and then going 2-1 behind. Coming away from the derby with a point, he will certainly be most pleased.

  11. 'I need to take a breather'

FT: Man Utd 2-2 Man City

    Siobhan Chamberlain

Ex-England and Man Utd goalkeeper on BBC 5 Live

It’s had everything, excitement, drama, red card, goals, goalline clearances and brilliant saves. What more could you ask for? I feel like I need to take a breather.

I predicted a 2-2 in the pre-game chat. I bottled it when we got to kick-off and said 1-0 to United. I should have stuck to my guns.

United will be pleased they managed to pull it back from 1-0 down but disappointed they didn't see it out. They should have done so with the extra player. I think they would probably have been happy with a point beforehand.

There are more positives to take from Manchester City. The second half, they performed so well with a player less. You wouldn't have realised they were down to 10.

  12. 'Worthy'

    Man Utd 2-2 Man City

    Rachel Brown-Finnis

    Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC One

The player who has been a thorn in the side of Man Utd is Lauren Hemp. For everything she has brought, she is a worthy player of the match.

  13. Post update

FT: Man Utd 2-2 Man City

Manchester City went a player down after 35 minutes and were 2-1 down after 75 minutes, but salvage a draw thanks to Ellen White.

    That's one incredibly hard-fought draw.

  14. FULL-TIME

    Man Utd 2-2 Man Cty

The points are shared at the end of a thrilling Manchester derby.

  15. Post update

    Man Utd 2-2 Man City

And more corners for Manchester City to defend now...

There is an appeal for handball as the first corner in appears to hit Keira Walsh's arm. It's in a natural position and nothing comes of it.

The next corner falls to United's Leah Galton, but she is off target.

  16. YELLOW CARD

    Man Utd 2-2 Man City

Janine Beckie goes into the book. It's a robust challenge, but no more than a yellow. Going into the book will eat up time.

  17. Post update

    Man Utd 2-2 Man City

Manchester City now having to defend successive corners.

The visitors are alert to these and deal with the danger. We are into the final minute of normal time.

  18. SUBSTITUTION

    Man Utd 2-2 Man City

A defensive change for Manchester City. Laura Coombs is on for Caroline Weir.

  19. Post update

    Man Utd 2-2 Man City

Manchester City are pressing high and trying to force a mistake from United as they try play it out from the back.

Will either side find a late winner?

  20. Post update

    Man Utd 2-2 Man City

Manchester United with another change now. Hayley Ladd is on for Jackie Groenen. A little over five minutes remain.
