On My Block’s recently released final season offered a glimpse into the cast of the upcoming spinoff series Freeridge. Confirmed for the series are new leads Bryana Salaz, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Ciara Riley Wilson and Shiv Pai. The new “Core Four” will show a new story of friends growing up in the same town, Freeridge. 

Netflix has ordered a That ’70s Show spinoff called That ’90s Show. The series begins in 1995 and sees Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, visiting her grandparents for the summer where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red. Sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll never dies, it just changes clothes. The ten episode season will see Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp reprise their roles. 

The Expanse is returning for its sixth and final season on Amazon Prime Video December 10. The date and trailer for the new season were revealed at New York Comic Con today. The final season will consist of six episodes, airing weekly. The season picks up with the solar system at war, as Marco Inaros and his Free Navy continue to launch devastating asteroid attacks on Earth and Mars. As the tensions of war and shared loss threaten to pull the crew of the Rocinante apart, Chrisjen Avasarala makes a bold move and sends former Martian Marine Bobbie Draper on a secret mission that could turn the tide of the conflict. Meanwhile, in the Belt, Drummer and what’s left of her family are on the run after betraying Marco. And on a distant planet beyond the Rings, a new power begins to rise. DO NOT MISS IT!

Upcoming anime series Blade Runner: Black Lotus has been given a premiere date on Crunchyroll and Adult Swim. The spinoff of the film series will premiere November 13 with two episodes. The series is set between Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049. In the series, a young woman tries to seek revenge on those that have wronged her while uncovering the mysteries of her past. 

The final season of The Walking Dead is about to wrap up their first part this weekend with episode 8. The next part of the season has been given a premiere date of February 20. Also released is a trailer for the second part of the season. The third and final part will likely air towards the end of 2022. 

Syfy’s Resident Alien is set to return for season two sometime next year. We got our first look and teaser at the new season.

Bobby Flay is leaving Food Network after 27 years. Negotiations between the two parties broke down and have ended. Flay has been a staple at the network, heading competition series, cooking series and travelogue series. His current deal expires at the end of the year. 

Nash Bridges is returning with a two hour movie on USA Network November 27. The new movie will reunite original cast members Don Johnson and Cheech Marin as elite investigators for the San Francisco Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit. Nash Bridges originally ran for six seasons on CBS from 1996 to 2001. 

HBO Max has ordered a new reality dating series titled My Mom, Your Dad. Yvonne Orji will host the series which was created by Haley Daniels and her father, Greg Daniels, the EP of The Office and Parks and Recreation. The series follows a group of single parents who have been nominated by their college-age kids for a second chance at love. The parents move into a house together, unaware that their adult children are right down the street living in a second house, watching their every move through hidden cameras and manipulating their encounters. 

ViacomCBS will be syndicating WOW – Women of Wrestling, a reboot of the AXS TV series, starting fall 2022. New episodes of WOW will launch in weekend syndication and is cleared in 70 perfect of the US in 160 markets. 

HBO Max has ordered an eight episode unscripted series called Atlas of the Heart. The series is based on Dr. Brené Brown’s book Atlas of the Heart: Mapping Meaningful Connection and the Language of Human Experience. Brown will take viewers on an interactive journey through the emotions and experiences that define what it means to be human. Anguish, wonder, awe, anxiety, envy, jealousy, resentment, compassion, empathy, disappointment, regret, and overwhelm are among the topics that will be examined. Grounded in more than two decades of research, Brown brings together powerful storytelling, pop culture references and researchers to share the language, tools and framework for meaningful connection.

AMC+’s new series Ragdoll is set to premiere November 11. The six episode serial killer thriller comes from the producers of Killing Eve. Six people have been murdered, dismembered and sewn into the shape of one grotesque body suspended from the ceiling in a block of London flats – nicknamed the ‘Ragdoll.’ 

FYI’s From Scratch returns for season two October 31. The series will see David Moscow continue foraging and cooking his way around the world. A special preview episode will air on History Channel October 30. 

HGTV’s new extreme tabletop and special event design competition series Table Wars is set to premiere November 12. During each episode, the competitors must design and install the ultimate themed dining environment that features stunning tablescapes, centerpieces, lighting and displays to wow the judges and avoid elimination. Episodes will stream on discovery+. 

Moonshiners and Master Distiller return for new seasons October 27 on Discovery along with new series Moonshiners: Smoke Ring. All three series will stream on Discovery+ the same day. 

Season two of All Creatures Great and Small is set to return to Masterpiece on PBS January 9. The new season is currently airing in the UK, airing on Channel 5. 

Kim Kardashian West is hosting SNL this weekend. The musical guest will be Halsey. 

Adult Swim and Crunchyroll released the first teaser for their upcoming anime series Shenmue the Animation. The series is based on the SEGA Shenmue video games and will premiere in 2022.

Paramount+ has set a premiere date for the upcoming new season of Real World Homecoming: Los Angeles. They also released a trailer showing the seven house guests (of the nine original house guests) for the season which will premiere November 24.

Critical Role’s The Legend of Vox Machina animated series has been given a premiere date. The Amazon Prime Video series will premiere February 4. Also revealed is the series title sequence.
