Titans' Julio Jones to miss second straight game due to hamstring injury
Jones suffered the hamstring ailment during the Titans' Week 3 win over the division rival Indianapolis Colts. The 32-year-old wideout has missed two straight weeks of practice due to the injury.
The seven-time Pro Bowl selection has recorded 12 catches for 204 yards in parts of three games this season.
Second-year receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, who is listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a hamstring issue, is expected to replace Jones in the lineup. Westbrook-Ikhine was a full participant in practice Friday.
"A.J. has worked hard and progressed to the point where based off of what he did today, we can expect him to play on Sunday," Vrabel said after Friday's practice.
Brown suffered a hamstring injury and was removed in the first quarter of the Titans' Week 3 contest against the Colts. The Ole Miss product failed to practice last week and was subsequently ruled out against the New York Jets in Week 4.
In three games this season, Brown has notched seven receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Titans punter Brett Kern was ruled out for this week's AFC South showdown against the Jaguars. Starting offensive lineman Rodger Saffold and outside linebacker Sharif Finch both cleared the NFL's concussion protocol ahead of the Week 5 matchup.
