LeBron James has achieved so much in what has been a decorated 19-year career. He's far from done too, which is why Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is in awe of LeBron's ability to play at an elite level despite his advanced age.

LeBron is going to be 37 this year, but at this point, there are no signs of the Lakers star slowing down. In his mind, Curry believes that James has set the bar when it comes to longevity in the NBA:

“He set the standard for that,” Curry said, via Nick Friedell of ESPN. “Let's keep it real — what is he, in his 18th year? Nine straight Finals, all the things that he's accomplished. You have a vision of sustaining your prime for as long as you can, kind of reimagining what that looks like. So you know the work that goes into it, the intentionality, especially in the offseasons, especially how you take care of your body, your mind. Balance on court, off court.”

Stephen Curry is no spring chicken as well. The Warriors point guard is now 33, and while he's still four years younger than LeBron, there's no denying that Steph is entering the twilight of his career. It is clear that Curry is taking some pointers from LeBron in terms of extending his prime as much as he can.

Steph then put into perspective just how long James has been dominating in the league. Even Curry himself had his starstruck moment with LeBron far before the Warriors star emerged as one of the deadliest shooters in the league:

“For me, it's a weird perspective just because I still remember my college days and he was just coming into his prime in the league,” Curry said. “And my sophomore year, [NCAA] tournament run he came to a game, then came to a game my junior year. This is hilarious. I still have a jersey that he signed back in '08 in my parents' house back in Charlotte. So it's kind of weird to think about what's happened in the last 13, 14 years.”

People have always tried to build up the LeBron vs. Steph feud narrative, and the fact that they met in the Finals several years in a row makes this storyline truly intriguing. Be that as it may, it is abundantly clear that Stephen Curry thinks very highly of LeBron. There's nothing but love between these two all-time greats.
