Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's Zeedan Nazir has been drawn into making a dangerous deal with his father-in-law.
Last month, Zeedan (Qasim Akhtar) returned to Weatherfield, telling his family he was just back to celebrate his grandmother Yasmeen's (Shelley King) birthday.
But it wasn't long before the truth came out and Zeedan revealed to Yasmeen and his sister Alya (Sair Khan) that he was back in town after leaving his wife Mehnaz.
Zeedan further explained that Mehnaz's father Hashim had threatened to kill him over the break-up of the marriage, which was caused by Zeedan having an affair.
Tonight (October 8), Zeedan was left shaken when he saw Hashim inside Speed Daal talking to Yasmeen.
Hashim had pretended to be a friend of Zeedan and when they came face-to-face in front of Yasmeen, Hashim described himself as "someone who once tried to teach him a lesson".
Eventually when the pair were alone, Hashim told Zeedan he had been through his business accounts and accused him of stealing £50,000.
Zeedan said he was entitled to the money as he'd worked at Hashim's restaurant so much. However, Hashim threatened to tell Yasmeen that the money he'd used to help her was stolen.
Hashim gave him only the rest of the day to repay the £50,000 and Zeedan had no luck when phoning around for a loan.
Later, Hashim came to the house looking for his money back. Zeedan told him he didn't have it and he couldn't take the money off his grandmother.
Hashim then told him: "You're a family man, what a pity that loyalty didn't extend to your wife or to me," before offering him a deal.
He said he was prepared to write off his debt and in return he would like to push some of his money through Speed Daal.
When Zeedan said he wouldn't be able to because he doesn't even do the accounts, Hashim told him he would have to find a way.
Speaking about Zeedan's problems last month, actor Akhtar teased: "He has crossed the wrong people and he has got on the wrong side of someone who is quite a big fish.
"He will be bringing trouble to the street, and Yasmeen and Alya are going to find themselves in the crossfire and in the thick of it with him. At the heart of it, he doesn't want to lie to them any more, or he wants to tell them a version of the truth."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
