In a way, anyone would be surprised to see K.C. Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce drive up, get out of his car, and approach you randomly. At the same time, Chiefs Kingdom is also used to see the single best tight end in the National Football League pretty much go anywhere he likes on the field and have Patrick Mahomes still find him for the first down.

Earlier this week, Kelce used his skills to find the right spot and crash the “save-the-date” photos for a nice young couple who are in love with not only each other but the Chiefs as well.

Via Focus & Flow Photography, we can all see some of the fun of the surprise for this lucky couple. According to the post on Facebook from earlier this week, the couple who were wearing Chiefs jerseys already—including a Kelce jersey for the bride-to-be—were having their photos taken for a “save the date session”. From there, Kelce approached and made the day of some fans in Chiefs Kingdom.

It should be noted that so many Chiefs players, including some of their biggest stars, are good for things like this all the time. Earlier this week, you might have also missed the story about Tyreek Hill meeting with a fan who’d suffered a recent stroke.

Shout out to the community-oriented side of the Chiefs for making sure its players stay so involved in the greater Kansas City community and the regions in which the players hail from. For so many, the civic-minded work that the Chiefs do off the field is far more important than what happens on it.

Next. The Chiefs have reinforcements on the way. dark
