Boston Red Sox infielder Bobby Dalbec is sitting Friday in the team's game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
In Game 2 of the American League Divisional Series, Dalbec will be replaced at first base by Kyle Schwarber against Rays starter Shane Baz.
In 453 plate appearances this season, Dalbec has a .240 batting average with a .792 OPS, 25 home runs, 50 runs and 78 RBI.
