One of the sound mixers of the film, Colin Nicholson, confirmed on Instagram that the shoot of The Flash finally called it a wrap, "That's a wrap on The Flash. Day 124 with a fantastic sound team, brilliant cast, and crew. It's been challenging but great fun."

The Flash was supposed to be premiering this year; however, the film has experienced a setback like any other film that there are as the coronavirus pandemic hits global and became the villain of our own story, including the vast change in the lifestyle of people affecting various industries like the film industry.

The Flash will be starring DCEU's Ezra Miller and the film will be directed by Andy Muschietti. The screenplay of the film will be based on the screenplay penned by Christina Hodson (Writer of Birds of Prey) and the film is expected to feature the elements of "Flashpoint," a storyline from DC Comics.

New touches were added to The Flash that already made his debut in the DCEU. The logo of Flash seems to hints circuits and wires surrounding the lightning insignia which lead to the speculations that Barry Allen will be dealing with some energy charge in a more in-depth level for his powers like how the details came into place in the recent Justice League Snyder Cut when he brought Superman back to life activating the Mother Box.

It has also been theorized that there would be a possible crossover of the two existing Flash today, with Grant Gustin reportedly having a cameo. While there has been no confirmation yet whether this multiversal opening will happen, the film will definitely be an opening for multiple versions of one character starting with Batman himself.

The Flash is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on November 4, 2022.
