Today, we get a taste of the latest 8-CAT SG tiers for the 2021-22 season. The two-guard spot has proven to be one of the most crucial in fantasy hoops. Here, you’ll see several familiar names who can put the team on their back with 40 or 50-point games while also stuffing the rest of the stat sheet to provide massive 8-CAT scoring contributions. Check out who makes each SG tier:

When assessing the landscape of fantasy shooting guards, you can’t go wrong with any of the four candidates in Tier 2. Zach LaVine, who finished second among all SGs last season with 27.4 points per game, will strive to elevate his offensive game to the next level with the help of Chicago’s revamped cast of supporting stars. Donovan Mitchell‘s ascent as one of the NBA’s premier guards figures to carry over from 20-21 to 21-22 and keep him as one of the most valuable assets on fantasy hoops rosters. Meanwhile in Tier 4, we have several less-proven stars with major breakout upside. Collin Sexton will look to take the reins of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ offense and build off a productive 20-21 season. Rookie SG Jalen Green also figures to play a big role in Houston, and it could be worth it for managers to take a flier on the rising star who will inevitably see major offensive volume on the court.

To see the rest of our 8-category positional tiers, expert columns, sleepers and positional rankings for a variety of formats and all that our 2021 NBA Draft Guide has to offer, you can purchase EDGE+ Roto here for as low as $3.99 per month!
