Disney+ launches ‘Muppets Haunted Mansion’ Halloween special: How to watch, release date, trailer, celebrity guests

The Muppets are taking a Halloween-themed adventure, inspired by Disney’s “Haunted Mansion” attraction, this week.

“Muppets Haunted Mansion” premieres on Disney+ on Friday, Oct. 8. The special is inspired by Disney’s Parks’ four “Haunted Mansion” attractions. “Muppets Haunted Mansion” begins with Gonzo proving his fearlessness by spending Halloween night in the mansion, the scariest, most chilling places in the Muppets’ animated world.

The Disney+ special includes hidden Easter eggs for fans plus three original songs, “Rest In Peace,” “Life Hereafter” and “Tie The Knot Tango.” Iconic Muppets characters join celebrity appearances from Will Arnett, Taraji J. Henson, Darren Criss, Yvette Nicole Brown and John Stamos.

Where can I watch ‘Muppets Haunted Mansion’?

It’s available on Disney+ ($7.99/month or $79.99/year). There’s also a Disney+ bundle option available, which includes access to Hulu (with ads) and ESPN+ for just $13.99/month.
