The final round of Concacaf World Cup Qualifying continued on Thursday night, and both New England Revolution representatives put in solid 90-minute shifts to help their nations to important results.

Matt Turner kept yet another clean sheet - his eighth in 11 appearances with the U.S. Men's National Team - as the Americans climbed to the top of the Octagonal with a 2-0 win over Jamaica. The 27-year-old was called upon to make just one save, but it was a good one, diving to his right to push away a low effort in the 41st minute.

Since making his international debut earlier this year Turner has put together an unbeaten 9-0-2 record with the U.S., conceding just three goals in that span. The MLS Goalkeeper of the Year favorite has started 10 consecutive games for the USMNT dating back to the Gold Cup opener in July, and boasts a combined 15-1-5 record in his last 21 appearances with the U.S. and Revolution.

Having allowed just two goals in their first four World Cup Qualifiers, the U.S. now sits atop the Octagonal with a record of 2-0-2 (8 pts.). They'll play next on Sunday, October 10, visiting Panama (6 p.m. ET, Paramount+, UNIVERSO).

Tajon Buchanan, meanwhile, went the full 90 minutes as Canada picked up a massive point at Estadio Azteca in a 1-1 draw with Mexico. The Revolution winger was consistently dangerous down the right side, and so nearly connected with Alphonso Davies in the 30th minute after bursting past his man and whipping in a low cross. Buchanan was at it again in the 78th minute, setting up back-to-back chances that almost produced a dramatic Canadian winner.

Buchanan has now made 13 appearances with Canada's senior squad - all in 2021 - registering one goal and three assists in World Cup Qualifying to keep the Canadians (1-0-3, 6 pts.) firmly in the top three of the Octagonal. Canada will return to action on Sunday, October 10, visiting Jamaica (6 p.m. ET, Paramount+).

UEFA World Cup Qualifying resumes on Saturday, October 9, as Adam Buksa and Poland will host San Marino (2:45 p.m. ET, ESPN+). Buksa recorded a hat trick in a 7-1 win over San Marino last month, part of a four-goal outburst in his first three appearances with Poland's senior team. The 25-year-old striker currently leads all players in UEFA qualifying in goals per 90 minutes (1.90), minutes per goal (47), goal conversion (80%), and is tied for best shot accuracy (100%).

Poland (3-1-2, 11 pts.) currently sits third in UEFA Group I, just behind England (5-0-1, 16 pts.) and Albania (4-2-0, 12 pts.).

Currently on a break from league action during the international window, the Revs - who have clinched first place in the Eastern Conference with still five games remaining - will play next on Saturday, October 16, when they'll host Chicago Fire FC at Gillette Stadium (7 p.m. ET, TICKETS).
