We all wish we could be a #GANNIGIRL and the brand just made it easier.

Ganni (aka everyone’s favorite Copenhagen brand) is no stranger to exciting collaborations, but its newest is something we have never seen from the brand before. Ganni just released its first size-inclusive capsule collection in partnership with luxury retailer 11 Honoré

The collection, called Love Drop, has been eight months in the making and features ten pieces that embody Ganni’s playful aesthetics. With never-before-seen patterns across a selection of dresses, tops, and bottoms, there is plenty to choose from. The brand felt that no detail was too small and took great care to ensure its extended sizing was done right. Working with 11 Honoré gave Ganni the insight and tools needed to properly extend its size range. With the retailer's help, the entire collection has gone through months of in-house testing and fittings to guarantee a flexible fit.

The Love Drop collection is one of the first steps in Ganni’s journey towards size-inclusivity. Currently, Ganni’s standard size offering in the US is from a 0-12 (32-44 EU), this collection will go up to a size 22. The SS22 collection Higher Love will continue this trend as a selection of styles from the RTW pieces will be available in sizes 0-22 as well. The new size range is not limited to just clothing either, swimwear and select shoe styles will also be offered in more sizes going forward.

While Ganni is new to extended sizing, it continues to be one of the few designer brands leading the way in ethical and responsible design. The brand is known for its transparency and in 2020 announced its Responsibility Gameplan which includes 44 goals for the brand to reach by 2023. Its dedication to the planet is exemplified in this collection as at least 50 percent of each piece is composed of lower impact materials, such as recycled nylon and polyester or organic silk.

The new collection features a campaign captured by New York-based photographer Courtney Sofia Yates and features models Diana Veras, Vineeta Seshasai, and Charlie Reynolds. The makeup and hair are natural, letting the models and the clothing do most of the work. Shot in an NYC apartment and various spots throughout the city, the images provide us with a beautiful portrayal of plus-size bodies, something we still do not have enough of. Hopefully, the introduction of extended sizing at Ganni, a brand that never disappoints with its campaigns, can help change that.

“Ganni is not about one look or uniform identity, it’s about confidence and kick-ass energy,” Ditte Reffstrup, Ganni’s Creative Director, said in a press release. “It’s my hope we can continue to share this spirit with more and more people. Everyone is welcome.” If the brand continues to grow its extended size selection, more of us will have the opportunity to encapsulate this spirit Reffstrup describes, making it possible for each of us to become our own definition of a Ganni Girl.

You can shop the collection now in select Ganni stores and online at GANNINordstrom, and 11 Honoré
