Southbound US-131 reopens after crash near Plainwell

PLAINWELL, Mich. —
Part of U.S. Highway 131 reopened Friday morning.

It originally closed due to a crash in the southbound lanes, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
As of 9:30 a.m., both lanes had reopened.
MDOT officials reported a second crash on southbound US-131 at D Avenue in Kalamazoo.

The second crash only blocked the right southbound lane, according to officials.
