The Golden State Warriors are a team with a lot of questions surrounding the team. Which ones weigh the most on the team heading into the season?

It seems like forever ago that the Golden State Warriors were the quintessential star of the NBA. However, we’ve only had two seasons since the Warriors were in five straight NBA Finals. This was a team that basically acted as a “final boss” of the entire league. If you don’t beat the Warriors, the championship just doesn’t hold the same weight.

The past two seasons, not only has the NBA been playing through a pandemic, but they also saw the Warriors lose star players and get decimated by injuries. Steph Curry is still here, and he’s doing his best to carry the team on his back. Ownership and the front office have made a lot of moves to try and put pieces around Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green to keep them in contention, but a lot have come with as many headaches as wins.

What five questions really stand above the Golden State Warriors prior to the start of the NBA season?

This is a team in transition, but a transition that hopes to still hold onto those championship hopes. The stars are still here. The injuries have healed (hopefully). There is a reason for confidence in Golden State to go on another run as the veteran-heavy group that can beat teams with prowess and smarts.

First, the Warriors have some very important questions to answer in the regular season. Also, they have to make the playoffs. They’ve missed the postseason for two straight seasons. If things go well, it’s not going to be three. First comes first, where should the expectations lie for this team? We go in reverse order of importance.
