Arts Arcata — Arcata Main Street’s monthly celebration of visual and performing arts, held at locations in Arcata — is slated for today from 4 to 7 p.m.

Participating venues this month include:

• Arcata Artisans Gallery, 883 H St.: New work by featured artists Zachary Shea and Betsy Roberts

• Arcata Gallery, 1063 H St.: Work by Julian DeMark, Eli Grant, Matt Henderson, Ceak Kytrell and Rob Busch

• Cafe Brio, 791 G St.: Photography by Serge Scherbatskoy

• Global Village Gallery, 973 H St.: Amazonian visionary art from the Uska Ayar school of painting in Pucallpa, Peru

• Infuzions 863 H St.: Artwork by Being Beaming inspired by deities and ancient spiritual imagery. The bulk of this collection features block prints by Merry Gnosis

• Moonrise Herbs, 826 G St.: Work by Peggy Ho of Magnolia Photography

• The Garden Gate, 905 H St.: “A Wondrous World of Colorful Explosion,” paintings by Augustus Clark

• The Griffin, 937 10th St.: Paintings by Joyce Jonte

• Plaza Grill, third floor, Jacoby’s Storehouse: Paintings by Jay Brown

• Plaza Shoe Shop 699 G St.: Artwork by Stephanie Thomas.
