NFL odds: Broncos are 1.5-point underdogs vs. Steelers

The Denver Broncos (3-1) are considered 1.5-point betting underdogs against the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-1) in Week 5 of the 2021 NFL season, according to Tipico Sportsbook. The AFC showdown will be played at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.

The over/under for total points scored between the team teams has been set at 39.5. Last week, the Broncos were considered 1.5-point favorites but lost to the Baltimore Ravens 23-7. The Steelers were considered 6.5-point underdogs against the Green Bay Packers last week and they lost 27-17.

Denver and Pittsburgh combined to score just 24 points in Week 4, well below this week’s over/under line of 39.5.

Both teams have uncertainty at quarterback going into Sunday’s game. Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is recovering from a concussion and Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has a hip injury.

If Bridgewater is ruled out, Drew Lock will start in his place for Denver. If Big Ben is not able to play, Mason Rudolph will start for Pittsburgh.

The Broncos lead the all-time series against the Steelers 20-12-1.
