HS Girls Soccer Wrap: Robbinsville holds Hopewell Valley to scoreless draw

ROBBINSVILLE — Nessa Sabol saved five shots and the Robbinsville High girls soccer team held first-place Hopewell Valley to a 0-0 draw in a Colonial Valley Conference Valley Division game on Thursday afternoon.

The Ravens (5-1-1) are unbeaten over their last six games since dropping the opener to Princeton.

Lucy Fleming had three saves for the Bulldogs (9-1-1), who had their hopes of a perfect conference season dashed.

Steinert 1, Hightstown 0

HAMILTON — Jasmin Ortega’s first-half goal off a feed from Nadia Gray was the game’s lone tally as the Spartans (10-1) blanked the Rams (5-5) for their eighth straight win.

Princeton 3, Lawrence 0

PRINCETON — Sophia Lis had two goals and an assist, Casey Serxner had a goal and an assist and the Tigers (8-1) blanked the Cardinals (6-4). Moji Ayodele had five saves for her seventh cleansheet.

Allentown 6, WW-PS 0

PRINCETON JCT. — Bella Conti scored twice and the Redbirds (5-4-1) made quick work of the winless Pirates (0-12) with six first-half goals. Norah Mosley, Lindsey Hines, Jadelyn Sayraef and Kaylie Repko also had goals.

Hamilton 3, Trenton 0

TRENTON — The Hornets (3-7) got second-half goals from Andrea Alvarez, Nadeen Abdel-Gleil and Madison Harrison to finally broke down the stubborn Tornadoes (2-11).

Notre Dame 7, Nottingham 1

HAMILTON — Devin DeMarco scored twice as the Irish (6-1-2) tallied six of their seven goals in the second half to beat the Northstars (1-8). Isabella Lynch, Megan McCauley, Brynn Fitzpatrick, Jessica Benettar and Juliana Lynch also scored.

Nicole Filipowicz had the Nottingham goal off a pass from Sydney Auletta.

PDS 3, Gill St. Bernard’s 1

GLADSTONE — Grace Romano, Adriana Salzano and Kirsten Ruf were all on targets as the Panthers (7-2-2) won their fifth straight game by knocking off Gill St. Bernard’s (4-5-1).
