Though it will be a long time before we get to ride TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom, construction progress is still being made every day.
From the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, we could see construction vehicles and materials throughout the site.
Some materials have been moved around.
The concrete walls near the show building surround the coaster’s launch.
The Walt Disney World Railroad will be rerouted by the coaster, and we saw some crew members working on the tunnel.
From the other side, we took a look at the canopy framework, which is currently covered in temporary blue netting. We didn’t see crew members working on it today, which may be a good sign that it is ready for actual canopy pieces to be installed soon.
The mysterious structure next to the coaster has not changed much since our last check-in.
The two levels of the platform are surrounded by orange safety netting. Stairs lead all the way up one side of it.
We did see crew members working on it today, both from a cherry-picker and on the top platforms.
A concrete mixer sits next to the structure.
There appears to be more scaffolding jutting out from the coaster’s entrance into the show building.
