EastEnders star Louisa Lytton has spoken about whether her own baby will join her in a possible comeback on the soap.
The Ruby Allen actress welcomed her and fiancé Ben Bhanvra's daughter Aura on August 30, with the actress explaining the couple "wanted something quite different" for her name.
Lytton is now on maternity leave from EastEnders, but has recently said she's not sure she will come back to the soap.
However, her character Ruby left the Square while pregnant – so it came up during an appearance on Loose Women that her real baby could play Ruby's child if she did want to go back to EastEnders.
"It was all very strange, because all my leaving scenes – poor James [Bye], who plays Martin, Ruby's stood there saying, 'I'm pregnant', and he doesn't believe her. Meanwhile, if the camera was tilted down, I was here at this point. So yeah, it was a lot," she said.
"But yeah, I could. I will definitely, if I go back, will be going back with a child. So whether she wants to be a part of it, who knows!"
There would be lots to explore should Ruby ever return to Walford, since she technically owns the club that is being run by Dotty Cotton.
Ruby was arrested last month when she was framed as Jean Slater's drug connection. Jean stitched up Ruby as revenge for putting Stacey behind bars and then selling her home out from under Martin Fowler.
Away from the screen, Louisa has had a tough time since giving birth, as she tested positive for COVID-19 and has only recently been given the all-clear.
"It was difficult because I had quite a long labour, which resulted in an emergency C-section, and then just as we were finding our feet, we then both got COVID," she explained on Loose Women.
"So yeah, it's not been the best start. But she's been plying throughout, so that's all we can ask for really."
