Preseason Gamethread #6: New Jersey Devils vs. New York Islanders

This is the end of the Devils’ preseason. After tonight, the last six games are effectively meaningless in terms of results. The performances will remain in the mind of the decision makers - assuming they have not already made most of them prior to this game. Hopefully no one gets hurt tonight and the Devils have a sense of who is on their active roster to start the season in eight nights on October 15.

The Song for the Evening: With the end of the preseason comes the end of me using Ginger Root. At least for some time. I will end it with a song that came out as a single about two years ago called “Weather.” It is my favorite song by Cameron Lew; the video showcases his humor and versatility in names; and it is very catchy.
