DubVision & ANML KNGDM Roar to No. 1 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay Chart With ‘I Wanna Be There’

Dutch DJ duo DubVision (brothers Stephan and Victor Leicher) and U.K.-based act ANML KNGDM pounce to No. 1 on Billboard‘s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart (dated Oct. 9) with “I Wanna Be There.” It’s DubVision’s third chart hit, after “I Found Your Heart,” featuring Emeni (No. 29 peak, 2015), and “One Last Time,” with Alesso (No. 22, 2020). ANML KNGDM leads in its first visit to the list.

The song is scoring core-dance airplay at leaders SiriusXM’s BPM, KMVQ-HD2 San Francisco and Music Choice’s Dance/EDM, according to MRC Data. (The Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart measures radio airplay on a select group of full-time dance stations, along with plays during mix shows on nearly 80 top 40-formatted reporters.)

Released on Robbins Entertainment, “Wanna Be” is the label’s first No. 1 since Afrojack’s “Take Over Control,” featuring Eva Simons, ruled for six weeks in November 2010-February 2011.

Additionally on Dance/Mix Show Airplay, Tiesto tallies his 14th top 10 and Karol G gets her first with “Don’t Be Shy” (12-9). Plus, singer-songwriter Joy Crookes collects her first Billboard top 10 as “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now” steps 11-7.

On the multi-metric Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, Joel Corry collects his third top 10, Charli XCX adds her second and Jax Jones and Saweetie each earn their first with “Out Out” (12-9). The track drew 1.6 million U.S. streams, up 11%, in the week ending Sept. 30.

Also on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, RÜFÜS DU SOL shines with “On My Knees,” new at No. 14. The Australian act’s seventh appearance marks its highest rank yet, eclipsing its other top 20 entry, “Next to Me” (No. 19 in August). Both tracks, along with “Alive” (No. 23 peak, August), preview the group’s album Surrender, due Oct. 23. “Knees” notched 927,000 domestic streams in the tracking week.
