Strosek Auto Design has a long and proud history of modifying Porsche 911 models and has just unveiled its latest project to celebrate 30 years of its iconic ‘Mega’ from the 1990s. Only this time, instead of a ‘speedster’, the new Mega will be a coupe.

To create the new ‘Mega 30’, of which just 30 units will be produced, the German company started with a regular 964 and has developed a striking widebody kit along with a series of performance upgrades for the water-cooled 911.

This kit includes flared front and rear wheel arches that drastically alter the car’s stance on the road. These new fenders have also allowed Strosek to fit a unique set of 19-inch wheels to the car, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 245/30 at the front and 295/25 at the rear. KW’s ever-popular V3 coilovers have also been fitted, as have stabilizer bars from H&R.

Some other changes have been made to the exterior of Strosek’s latest Porsche, including the fitment of new wing mirrors, bespoke front, and rear bumpers, distinctive side skirts, and the availability of a large rear wing.

Performance upgrades are also present on the car, including new camshafts, a bespoke air intake, tuned ECU, 100-cell catalytic converter, and a sports exhaust system. The most basic Mega 30 model produces 300 hp while those after more grunt can have the engine upgraded to 450 hp. An upgraded six-speed manual is also featured.

Strosek hasn’t forgotten about the car’s interior and fitted it with new Recaro seats, carbon fiber panels, and a plethora of Alcantara and leather surfaces. There is also a sweet looking Momo steering wheel and a roll cage.

It is understood that each Mega 30 commands a starting price of around €300,000 ($346,000).
