Allegiant Airlines will be adding two new stops in the county’s southern region this month, the airline announced Thursday.
Service from McCarran Internation Airport (LAS) will now be adding stops in Destin, Florida, and Amarillo, Texas, with flights operating twice a week.
“Las Vegas is one of the most popular destinations in Allegiant’s network. And Destin is, too. It makes sense to connect these two cities with our unique brand of travel: low-cost, nonstop flights without the hassle of layovers or connections,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s senior vice president of revenue and planning.
“Adding a route to Amarillo will make travel a lot more convenient for rodeo fans living in both cities.”
Service to Destin, Florida via Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) will begin October 7, 2021, while service to Amarillo, Texas via Rick Husband Amarillo Internation Airport (AMA) will begin October 14, 2021.
