Juan Cuadrado has told Paul Pogba to re-join his former club Juventus after his contract at Manchester United expires next summer.

The Colombian winger commented on Pogba's Instagram post ahead of tonight's UEFA Nations League Semi-Final with Belgium in Italy, writing 'stay home, dear friend hahahahaha'. The remark has since been deleted.

This adds further fuel to the fire surrounding Pogba's future, which is still undecided. There are plenty of rumours circulating which suggest that the 28 year old will leave England at the end of this season, with Real Madrid reportedly the most interested party.

However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that it's just as likely for the World Cup winner to extend his stay at Old Trafford, with a contract offer on the table from Ole Gunnar Solskjær and the powers that be at United since July.

When asked about the midfielder's situation in the summer, Solskjær batted away suggestions that this would be his last campaign in a red shirt.

"It's been spoken and written about so often but every discussion I have had with Paul (Pogba) is a positive one," he said, as quoted by Sky Sports. "He knows what we want and hopefully it stays in the background and Paul and us will make a decision together.

"It (the situation) will always be like this with Paul - he's a media 'magnet'."

Pogba enjoyed an outstanding four years in Turin, lifting four consecutive Serie A titles and two Coppa Italias. If he was to return, it would see him reunited with manager Massimiliano Allegri, who is currently enjoying his second spell in charge of The Old Lady.

The latter admitted back in 2019 that he could not envisage Pogba wearing a black and white shirt again.

"I think that a return of Pogba to Juventus is very, very unlikely," Allegri said, as quoted by Sky Sports. "I will not deceive myself, I think it will be really hard to see Pogba come back."

However, with Cuadrado's endorsement, Pogba might defy Allegri's reservations in a few months' time. Let's wait and see.
