Boston Red Sox designated hitter J.D. Martinez is included on the roster for the American League Division Series against the Tampa Bay Rays, which begins Thursday.
Martinez was questionable after injuring his ankle tripping over second base while running out to play defense in the final game of the regular season Sunday.
"He is doing OK," Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Wednesday, according to MLB.com's Ian Browne. "He is moving around. We'll see what he can do today. The goal is for him to do a few things today physically and, you know, we'll make a decision, obviously, tomorrow morning."
